What if you could help eliminate some of the barriers to global mobility?
“We are here to fundamentally transform the future of immigration. My family struggled to make it through the complexity of the U.S. immigration process and we are now the market leader to create the first positive brand in an industry that has never had one before. We want to help people live their best lives – we’ll take the nuts-and-bolts and stress of living a new life somewhere, and they can focus on learning a new culture, a new job and setting roots.” – Xiao Wang, Co-Founder & CEO

The Business. Incubated at Pioneer Square Labs in 2017, Boundless leverages data and technology to solve the inefficiencies of our current immigration system. Rather than tapping into their life savings to hire a specialized attorney or embracing the risk of a self-guided tour through reams of (hopefully, the right) paperwork, Boundless’ platform offers a one-stop shop for families navigating the high-stakes challenge of becoming a citizen in their country-of-choice, with initial focus in the United States.
The Game Plan. With the acquisition of our largest remaining competitor RapidVisa in mid-2020, which more than doubled headcount, and the recent shifts in national policy, Boundless is scaling its teams across the United States and the Philippines as it readies to drive real impact on the immigration landscape, growing from 150 employees today to 270 employees by the end of 2021!

“We’re at an interesting phase of our journey, evolving from a giant law firm to a tech-oriented team, and we’re very complex for this stage – international component, remote teams, tech and operations employees. We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about people to help us build an engaged and cohesive employee base.” – Selina Farrand, VP Finance
VP People Mandate

“I want to work with a Head of People who's a strong thought partner - someone who asks good questions, challenges my assumptions, and gets me to think about decisions in a different way. Being comfortable with nuance is also key.” – Sarah Warn, VP Growth
- Architect. Build our People and Recruiting Operations foundation in a complex environment, harmonizing across multiple entities (legacy Boundless + acquired RapidVisa), cultures and geographies (US + Philippines + more), and workforces (exempt + non-exempt)
- Culture champion. Articulate, refine, and evolve our culture as we hyper-scale, continuing to balance our business and our mission within the framework of a fast-paced tech startup
“Top of mind for me is culture. We want to make our company values feel very lived. Drawing from the bulk of my experience at Rover, and Xiao talks about this at Amazon, we felt those values every day. It was inherently obvious. [We’re looking for] someone who can help us get there and make them an engrained part of what we’re doing at Boundless.” – Colette Lilly, Director of Operations

- Advisor. Sounding board and coach to our leaders, from first-time people managers to C-suite, as we attract, engage, develop, and reward our employees while going through a massive growth spurt
- DEI ally. Design programs that continue to reflect our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion across our entire employee lifecycle … we’re currently 50% female and people of color, including at the leadership level!

“Xiao fosters open communications and creates a safe environment for everyone to express their opinions. As the only white male on the leadership team, it’s such an interesting view to be the minority at the table.” – Alan Gilbert, VP Engineering
- Mentor. Develop a team of 5 (HR generalist US, HR manager Philippines, 3 recruiters) with additional headcount planned for both US (2) and the Philippines (3)
